PLU Busoga Region, under the stewardship of the Regional Coordinator, Mr. Samuel Nabeeta Mulowoza, has secured running kits valued at six million Uganda shillings.
The group rallied Ugandans across the country to participate in the upcoming birthday run for the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, scheduled for April 26, 2026.
The team was commended Mr. Nabeeta, who generously contributed five million shillings toward this initiative.
PLU Busoga Region has consistently demonstrated unwavering solidarity and loyalty to Gen. MK, a commitment that remains steadfast.
Haji Faruk Kirunda, also supported the cause with one million shillings.
‘’We also extend our sincere gratitude to Owekitiibwa James Mukembo for his exemplary leadership, guidance, and continued support’’, said officials.
‘’Furthermore, we recognize and commend the delegation that represented the entire PLU Busoga fraternity at the PLU Headquarters in Naguru’’.
The run is expected to take place at Kololo Independence Grounds, drawing thousands of participants from across the country in a show of solidarity, patriotism, and collective responsibility.
The event is anticipated to be one of the largest patriotic gatherings in recent years, combining celebration with a strong message of service and national pride.
