The school was selected from thousands of applications from schools worldwide as one of the 10 winners of the World’s Best School Prizes, an initiative from the organisation T4 Education, for world’s most prestigious education prizes.

The five World’s Best School Prizes – for Community Collaboration, Environmental Action, Innovation, Overcoming Adversity, and Supporting Healthy Lives – were established in the wake of COVID in 2022 to give a platform to schools that are transforming lives in their classrooms and beyond, showcasing and democratizing their best practices to help improve education everywhere.

The aim is to spotlight schools whose principals, teachers, and communities have demonstrated exemplary school culture, including leadership and innovation, to enhance the education and lives of their students.

St Kizito High school Namugongo has exemplified these qualities, and thus emerged among the best 10.

In a congratulatory message ,Vikas Pota, the Founder & CEO at T4 Education said; ‘’Let it be our shared intention that all schools in your city, country and the whole world, become aware of  St Kizito High School’s achievements and are inspired to follow a similar path of continuous improvement’’.

“Congratulations to St Kizito High School, on being a Top 10 Shortlisted School of the prestigious World’s Best School Prizes founded by T4 Education. Your trailblazing work for your students and for your community is a source of great pride. I hope schools everywhere will look to your shining example. Once again, I would like to congratulate the school on this outstanding achievement, and I look forward to your support in helping celebrate its success’’, reads further a congratulatory message from Vikas.

Now, St Kizito High school Namugongo is racing for the position of Top 3 in the world and the voting is open to the public , follow this link https://t4.education/worlds-best-school-prizes/finalists-and-winners/   .

The World’s Best School Prizes, organized by T4 Education, feature a dual-track final voting procedure: one for the main awards decided by a Judging Academy, and a separate Public Vote that determines the Community Choice Award.

    The Voting and Selection Procedure:

    Top 10 Finalist Public Vote:

When the Top 10 finalists are announced, T4 Education opens a global public vote for the Community Choice Award.

Anyone in the world can cast a vote using their email address. You typically visit the voting page, review the stories and videos of the shortlisted schools, select St Kizito High School Namugongo, and verify your vote via a confirmation email.

This vote is independent of the main prizes and purely decides the Community Choice winner.

    Main Prize Judging Academy Selection:

Concurrently, an Educator Committee narrows the applicants down to the Top 3 finalists for each category (e.g., Community Collaboration, Environmental Action, Innovation, Supporting Healthy Lives, and Overcoming Adversity).

Comprehensive evaluation packages for these Top 3 are sent to the Judging Academy—a distinguished panel of international leaders, educators, NGOs, and entrepreneurs.

The Judging Academy makes the final binding decision on the main prize winners.

    Winners Announcement:

At the ceremony, the main prize winners are announced, along with the Community Choice Award recipient
