Today 17th November, 2025, the Managing Director of the National Enterprise Corporation, Lt Gen James Mugira, has commenced a tour of NEC subsidiary Companies and Joint Ventures, starting with NEC Uzima Ltd, in Kakiri, Wakiso District.
During his visit, Gen Mugira interacted with staff, reviewed progress, and recognized the team’s outstanding achievement as the best bottled Natural Mineral Water in Uganda. He expressed his appreciation for their efforts in promoting the NEC Uzima brand.
Gen Mugira emphasized the importance of refocusing on the vision, mission, and objectives of NEC Uzima Ltd, urging the team to strive for continuous improvement.
Maj Edgar Ankwasa, General Manager of NEC Uzima Ltd, welcomed Gen Mugira and thanked him for his guidance and support. He briefed the Managing Director on the company’s operations and activities.
The tour is aimed at assessing performance, boosting morale, and driving growth across NEC’s diverse portfolio of subsidiaries and Joint Ventures.
