The Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) on Tuesday 17th February, 2026 received a certificate of appreciation from the Uptown Kampala Rotary Club in recognition of the Authority ‘s support towards the club’s outreach activities.
The certificate in appreciation of UCAA’s support to the club in the financial year 2025/26 was handed over by the Rotary District Governor, Mr. Geoffrey Martin Kitakule, witnessed by the President Rotary Uptown Club Ms Immaculate Nakyeyune.
UCAA Principal Public Affairs Officer, Mr Kenneth Otim received the certificate on behalf of the Authority.
UCAA had in previous week, on Friday 13th February, hosted a vocation tour by members of the rotary club who were inducted through the departure and arrival processes at Entebbe international airport.
The team also toured the newly completed passenger terminal that facilitates seamless departure passenger flow.
