Kampala, Uganda – February 28, 2026 -Emerging Ugandan artist and musician Khan Givas is gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated 5-track EP, Lovers Cannot Fall, scheduled to drop on March 10, 2026. Known for his thoughtful lyrics and genre-blending sound that fuses Afrobeat influences with contemporary pop elements, Givas continues to carve out a niche in the local music scene as a freethinker and storyteller.
Khan Givas, whose real name is Akambamu Gilivazio, first gained attention with singles like “Jitambue” and “On Fleek,” which showcased his ability to blend introspective themes with infectious rhythms. The upcoming EP builds on this foundation, exploring themes of love, resilience, and human connection. “This project is about the unbreakable spirit of lovers,” Givas shared in a recent statement. “It’s a reminder that true bonds withstand the falls of life.”
The EP will be available for streaming and download on major platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and local Ugandan services. Fans can expect a mix of upbeat tracks and soulful ballads, with production that highlights Givas’s growth as an artist. Early teasers on his social media, including X (formerly Twitter) where he goes by @iamkhangivas, have already generated buzz among his growing follower base.
As a self-described freethinker, Givas draws inspiration from everyday experiences in Uganda, infusing his music with cultural nuances that resonate with both local and international audiences. This release marks a significant milestone in his career, following announcements dating back to 2024, and positions him as one to watch in the evolving Ugandan music industry.
For more information or interviews, contact Khan Givas via his X handle @iamkhangivas or email: info@khangivas.com. Stay tuned for the official launch event details
